BSA124 Week Five - Lip sink practice

Stop-Motion Practice

Reminder set camera into RAW!!! Because we forgot to changed that at the start we couldn't make a high quality video. But it was a good reminder to double check everything.
Another reminder so we don't forget, set into 25 frames.

Dragonframe

How to import reference image/video
Use the window and press the bottom with two windows.
After that you choose the file you want to put as a reference.
You can drag the reference image around to it doesn't get in your way.
After that we imported the audio file. Next to the camera and cinematography is a little arrow, press it and activate the audio screen. Now you can click on the hamburger menu at the left side and choose "import audio" and import the right file.

The audio is also seen next to your shot list.

Bethany and I build different mouth shapes out of clay to animate our characters mouth and get a feeling how it should look like. It was a good exercise so we have some experience for our own animatic and movie.

Our final clip is just a low quality because we forgot to change the settings into RAW instead of only jpg's.

Bethany and me got a advice from Vaughn for our stop motion. That we should make our main character also in clay and the counting sheep scene in paper cut. And when the sheep is leaping out of the dream it turns into 3D.
