BSA131 Week 16 - Rough Cut

After shooting my music video and start to edit everything I noticed that my music video footage I took in the park is a  bit to less. I should have done some more different perspectives or took 1 or two more locations. But I tried to make my shooting day as short as possible because it was raining and we just had one umbrella for the camera. Also was my actress always late for the shoots what was a bit annoying because everybody had to wait for her.
I think I will maybe add some shoots of the flowers and add them in the music scene to fill it up a bit. Because I think some shots are a bit too long for the beat of the music.
At first I looked through all my footage and marked the clips that are good and usable because on some drama scenes the audio was so quite I had to put the volume up on that track. Before the shoot I had a different picture of the frames and I'm a bit disappointed with myself with the outcome of the music video in general. But I have to live with that know and make the best out of my footage. I linked the right audio footage to the right clip and linked it to it. It was sometimes a bit tricky to really fit it to the clap of the Slat board but I think I managed just fine. After that I cut the footage to the different perspective so it is always on the important person or when the person is doing something important.

After finishing my Rough Cut I started to color correct the footage, because the footage of the drama sequence was very dark and relatively flat. So I pushed the saturation up but just in the drama footage I putted it to 200% on the other footage it was below it.
