BSA131 Week ten - Planing the shoot

Music video

For the music video must be still a lot of work be done. Over the break, I had some time thinking how my video should look and which story should be told through it. Also, I don't want it to become all sad and depressing so I wanna give it a positive vibe to it. For that, I have to change a bit of my proposal. I still wanna open the music video with a breakup drama scene.

Pre-Production

I have written to the Park departure and told them about my plans and when I wanted to shoot in the Otepuni Gardens. They requested some more information about what I'm gonna shot and if it would cause any disruption in the park. I replied to that with more details about what my video is about and how many people would be there for the shoot.

In class, we finalised who is helping out on which shoot and what role the person will take. On my shoot will be Morten as my DOP, Marc as my 1 AD, Niklas for the sound and Luqman as a Gaffer. I also joined the crew from Niklas for his DOP, Marc as his Gaffer, Morten for the sound and at Luqman's as his 1AD. We talked about when each of us is wanting to film and I decided to film on Friday and Saturday the 28th -29th September. I also asked Angie to be my actor in my video because I really need some actors. I also prepare an email to send to the repository tomorrow because I still need a male actor.

I also spoke to 2 other students out of the 2nd year if I could help out at their sets. Tyler is gonna shot at this weekend and I'm gonna help out with the sound. He also wanted my help on Friday but there I'm already filming for my Compositing paper.
