Proposal
I added the explanation to our references and what we want to use of those in our own video and in what scene. I also added a few more sentences to our story so we had a bit longer story. And it got more interesting scenes.
We finished our proposal today and uploaded it in the Dropbox.
Proposal Title: Counting Sheep (Working Title)
Genre: Comedy
Characters:
* Silver Jewel a young boy
* Sheep
Logline: Little Silver is trying to go to sleep by counting sheep when one leaps out of his dream. Can Silver manage to go to sleep with a loud sheep in his room?
Treatment: Act I: Set scene Silver Jewel’s parents wish Silver good night as they close the door. Silver struggles to go to sleep. He tries to count sheep one by one. One. Two. Three. Fou… Number four sheep suddenly leaps out of his dream and into his bedroom. In the dark room both stare at each other in disbelief.
Act II: Conflict or Crisis rises Silver is surprised by his new arrival and sits upright in his bed. He turns on his lamp next to his bed to see if that is really a sheep in his room. Fast he turn the light of again in hope the sheep will vanish with the light and pulls the blanket over his head. The sheep “baa” about the sudden darkness and and starts to make more noise and a mess in Silver’s room, because he is confused where he is. It also starts eating Silver’s pillow. Silver continues to ignore the sheep by placing his hands on his head so he can go to sleep. When that doesn’t work Silver gets angry at the sheep and tells it go away. The sheep is saddened by this but it slowly starts to leave the room. Silver then feels bad for the sheep and invites the sheep to sleep with him.
Act III: Resolution The sheep is happy with this and trots on over to his new friend and hopes into Silver’s bed. Silver smiles as he cuddles his new friend (as his replacement pillow) and finally goes to sleep.
Method & Style
1. We chose for our second character a round sheep and we wanna go after the style they are using at Shaun the Sheep. But it will move more like a real sheep and won’t stand on to legs. They combine clay and wool and that’s what we want to do too.

2. Our main character is going to be a paper-cut out and should look a bit like in the picture. Also the background and environment is like we want to do it with it real fabrics and a feeling of depth in it. We also want a cute look in our video like they have in their video. But for our character we need a joint in his arm so he has a bit more movements in his arms, because he has to turn on the light and pull the blanket over his head.

3. From the third inspiration we want to archive the amazing look of their stunning backgrounds. In our case we want to use it in the counting sequence when Silver is counting the sheep, so you can see the difference between the dream and reality.
